蜂閣

NestBees是⼀款整合獨居蜂孵育、DIY 益智組裝、⽣態觀察及⾺賽克圖像特⾊的⽣態友善裝置，以臺灣六種常⾒的獨居蜂外型特⾊，包含：南⽅蘆蜂、⿈胸細腰蜂、紅腳細腰蜂、未徽蜾臝、⿊熊⽊蜂、雙⾊切葉蜂，作為裝置的外觀特⾊元素，以 15x15的⽅形⾺賽克圖像⼿法，創造出獨有的美學特⾊。經過實驗證實，8~12mm孔徑對獨居蜂⽽⾔是最友善的⼊住條件，以溫潤的⽊質調打造適合獨居蜂孵育之環境，⼈們能通過觀察獨居蜂的孵育過程，認識其對環境⽣態的重要性。
本創作運⽤⾺賽克圖像由各單元點陣圖像構成之特徵，結合⾄獨居蜂住所的單元體，跳脫傳統獨居蜂住所商品的設計作法，本創作能讓裝置透過 DIY ⽅式組裝成型，讓使⽤者親⼿為獨居蜂打造住所，達到產品與使⽤者之間教育學習及親⼦互動的良好效益，並且透過⾺賽克圖像創作⼿法，賦予裝置前所未有的視覺獨特性與藝術美感，改善以往獨居蜂住所產品的制式⾵格。藉由系統性的整合裝置住所，幫助使⽤者對於獨居蜂孵育觀察的紀錄分享。

NESTBEES

NestBees is an eco-friendly device that integrates solitary bee breeding, DIY puzzle assembly, ecological observation, and mosaic image colorization. It features the external characteristics of six common solitary bees in Taiwan, including the Osmia rufa, Megachile abdominalis, Megachile concinna, Osmia cornifrons, Xylocopa violacea, and Megachile disjuncta. These bee species serve as the design elements of the device, with a unique aesthetic colorization created through a 15x15 mosaic image technique. Through experiments, it has been confirmed that a hole diameter of 8-12mm is the most friendly condition for solitary bees to inhabit. By creating a warm and wooden environment suitable for solitary bee breeding, people can understand the importance of solitary bees to the ecological environment through observing their breeding process.

This creation utilizes the characteristic of mosaic images composed of individual pixel images, combined with individual units of solitary bee habitats. It breaks away from the traditional design approach of solitary bee habitat products, allowing the installation to be assembled into shape through DIY methods. This creation enables users to personally create habitats for solitary bees, achieving the beneficial effects of education, learning, and parent-child interaction between the product and users. Through the technique of mosaic image creation, the installation is endowed with unprecedented visual uniqueness and artistic beauty, improving the standardized style of previous solitary bee habitat products. By systematically integrating the installation habitat, it helps users record and share observations of solitary bee breeding.
