碳路

Road of Lux

  依據「人生的道路」及「選擇」這樣的方向去做最初的發想,人們總是習慣性的認為只要完成了某樣目標,朝著那個方向前進就能得到幸福,可是能在生活中發現自己喜愛的事物,又何嘗不是一種幸福?所以想透過閃爍的光作為主角喜愛的事物,跳脫被制定好路線的礦車,象徵著他追求自由以及喜愛之物的勇氣,藉此鼓勵在這個快速運轉的世代下的我們,依舊擁有尋求自己幸福的權利。
  作品以「路」為發想,我們將主角設定為擬人化的煤炭精靈,並以「閃亮的光」作為對比、吸引主角的動機,在被規劃好的道路中,主角卻被一路上遇見的光所吸引,做出了與其他煤炭不同的選擇,走進了截然不同的岔路,儘管是漆黑、不起眼的存在,卻有努力追求的勇氣。在追求的路途上經歷了波折與歷練,也讓漆黑的煤炭成為了閃閃發光的鑽石,成為了自己的光。

Road of Lux

Based on the initial conception of life's path and choices, people often habitually believe that as long as they achieve a certain goal and move in that direction, they can attain happiness. However, isn't finding something you love in life also a form of happiness? Therefore, through the protagonist's affection for flickering light, breaking free from the predetermined path like a minecart, symbolizing his pursuit of freedom and the courage to pursue what he loves, we aim to encourage us in this rapidly changing generation to still have the right to seek our own happiness.

The work is inspired by the concept of "paths." We depict the protagonist as a personified coal sprite, with "shining light" serving as a contrast and motivation that attracts the protagonist. Despite the planned path, the protagonist is drawn by the light encountered along the way, making a different choice from other coals, entering a completely different fork in the road. Despite being dark and inconspicuous, there is the courage to strive for pursuit. Along the journey of pursuit, experiencing twists and turns, transforms the dark coal into a sparkling diamond, becoming its own light.
