移然自得

我們將製作四款移工休閒生活的系列公仔，希望透過本次計劃讓大眾認識將移工們鮮為人知的一面。台灣因基層勞工短缺，而引進移工以彌補當時台灣無法供給的勞動力，而且移工較低的勞動成本也有助於維持產品出口競爭力並減緩，在台移工大致上為印尼、菲律賓、泰國、越南這四個國家為大宗。 大多數移工都從事我國年輕人較不願從事的職業，例如：看護、建築工、漁工等，移工們除了工作外，有著多元的休閒生活且遠超我們想像，因此我們想透過職業、興趣、真實案例的結合，設計四款公仔及四張角色職業卡，一尊模型就有一張角色職業卡。
印尼的看護阿店是一位樂團主唱，菲律賓的漁工達威是粗魯小姐選美參賽者，泰國的建築工人阿慶是一位手巧的電動車達人，越南的生產線員阮香梅是一位議題領導。 以上都參考了現實中的原型，如印尼的在台移工樂團黑袍樂隊，粗魯小姐則是在台南科技園區工廠工作的菲律賓人貝爾，改車文化一直深受年輕移工族群的喜愛，在台灣也有移工們的電動車車聚，移工領袖則是在台的移工全球培力行動， 組織長年為移工議題發聲。我們希望透過模型為載體，呈現移工們休閒時的樣貌，在台努力工作之餘同時也努力過好自己的生活，這樣的精神值得我們去省思也值得我們學習。

Yiranzide

We're planning to create a series of four figurines representing the leisure lives of migrant workers, aiming to highlight lesser-known aspects of their lives. Taiwan faces labor shortages, so migrant workers were introduced to fill the gap. Most are from Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, often taking up jobs that locals avoid, like caregiving and construction.
Besides work, migrant workers lead diverse leisure lives. We'll design four figurines and accompanying occupation cards, combining professions, interests, and real-life examples. Each figurine will come with a corresponding card.
Aden, the caregiver from Indonesia, is a band's lead singer. Dave, the fisherman from the Philippines, competes in rugged beauty pageants. Khing, the construction worker from Thailand, is an electric car enthusiast. Xuan Mei, the production line worker from Vietnam, is a community leader.
These characters are inspired by real individuals. Aden is based on the lead singer of the Black Robes band, composed of Indonesian migrant workers. Dave is modeled after Bell, a Filipino worker known for participating in rugged beauty pageants. Khing reflects the car modification culture among migrant workers. Xuan Mei's leadership role is based on the Global Workers Empowerment Movement in Taiwan.
Through these figurines, we aim to portray migrant workers' leisurely lives, showing how they enjoy life while working hard in Taiwan. Their spirit is worth reflecting on and learning from.
