怪，可愛?

定義好看與不好看的標準是什麼？跟別人一樣是好看嗎？還是跟別人不一樣是好看？選用黑色的布料是人們身上的特質大部份跟別人都是一樣的意思，因為有這世界有一定的標準，人們心中也有一些固定的成見，無差別的樣子似乎類似無色概念。不同娃娃則代表自己的獨特性，我們想用成衣的風格去表示這世界是存在框架的，但色彩和部分衣服擴型是我們在框架中仍然能活出自己。或許設計某種程度上就是在追逐自己的特色，所以總要有「獨特」、「不一樣」或者「與眾不同」的意義在作品中，但為什麼要與眾不同？是因為大家都一樣？現在的好看的穿搭就大概是那樣，大家對於好看的人的定義也差不多，我們總想要展現自己的特色。我們很容易跟別人一樣不一定就是不好的，原因是這能讓我們更快融入一個新的群體。所以一樣也不一定是一種壞事，我們可能會因為別人跟自己不一樣覺得他很奇怪或者很討厭，奇怪的娃娃所代表的意義也不只限於自己的特色，而是這些自己獨特性的地方也可能是別人不接受自己的一部分，但這就是我們不一樣的色彩。人類社會當中，每個人的想法都不一樣。有些事情別人覺得可愛有些事情別人覺得奇怪但在我們的視角：怪，可愛？

Weird, cute?

What are the criteria for defining what looks good and what doesn't? Is looking the same as others considered attractive, or is being different considered attractive? Choosing black fabric is mostly about blending in with others, as there are certain standards in the world, and people also have fixed prejudices. Looking nondescript seems to resemble the concept of being colorless. On the other hand, different dolls represent their uniqueness. We want to use the style of clothing to show that there is a framework in this world, but we can still express ourselves within that framework through color and certain clothing styles. Perhaps designing to some extent is about pursuing one's own characteristics, so there must always be the meaning of "unique," "different," or "distinctive" in the work. But why should we be different? Is it because everyone else is the same? The current definition of what looks good is probably like that, and people's definition of what looks good is also similar. We always want to show our own characteristics. It's not necessarily bad to be the same as others; the reason is that it allows us to integrate into a new group more quickly. So being the same isn't necessarily a bad thing. We may think someone is strange or dislike them because they're different from us. The meaning represented by the strange doll is not limited to one's own uniqueness; rather, those unique aspects may also be parts that others do not accept about oneself. But that's the color of our differences. In human society, everyone's thoughts are different. Some things others find cute, some things others find strange. But from our perspective: weird, cute?
