時間的空隙-忠信市場再造計畫

忠信市場位於台中美術館正對面的美術園道旁邊，市場過去以傳統農業交易為主要機能，但近年來因應藝文區域發展開始了藝文活動的進駐，未來發展趨勢也以藝術空間為主。畢業設計提案的改造方向以現在趨勢為目標，藝術類別選擇以互動性較高的展演活動(如劇場、戲台等... ...)相對應對面的美術館靜態藝術展作為對比。為了現今使用者轉為遊客居多，希望將遊客停駐時間延長，故增設了背包客棧的住宿可能性，便延續整天皆有活動的價值。

倘若市場本身就是個展示的裝置/物件/場域，那什麼是市場展演自身的空間?
-物件:像是裝啤酒的塑膠箱子、腳踏車、貨櫃、木桌、毛筆畫... ...
-裝置:女兒牆、屋頂加蓋、鐵門群體
-場域:入口、轉角特色、顏色、電影場景感、街屋群... ...

Location for the Art

Zhongxin Market is located next to the Art Garden Road directly opposite the Taichung Art Museum. The market used to be mainly used for traditional agricultural transactions. However, in recent years, in response to the development of the arts and culture area, arts and cultural activities have begun to enter the market. The future development trend is also to focus on art spaces. The transformation of the graduation project proposal aims at current trends, and the art category is based on highly interactive performance activities (such as theaters, stages, etc...) as opposed to static art exhibitions in art museums. In view of the fact that most of the current users are tourists, and we hope to extend the stay of tourists, we have added the possibility of accommodation in a backpacker inn, which will continue the value of having activities throughout the day.
