沙漠的愛

這是一個關於Z世代的暈船愛情故事。

男主角的生日將至，認為彼此關係曖昧的女主角正寫著要送給他的生日卡片，此時訊息中女主角想安慰男主角的心卻被已讀不回，不料男主角毫無預警的消失即劃下關係的句點。女主角獨自承受斷崖式的失戀，不斷在回憶與現實間走不出來，心境猶如置身沙漠，這份沒有得到回應的愛對應男主角，就好像沙漠中看見綠洲，看得見卻觸摸不到，揭開愛情的面紗後才發現只是海市蜃樓，一廂情願。
女主角以洋裝顏色區分過去與現在。白色洋裝代表曾經的美好回憶，黑色洋裝代表獨自面對失戀的過程。其中浴室場景出現的藥罐，也訴說著失眠、憂鬱症等文明病在Z世代日趨普遍。

而療傷的過程難免止不住想念，她反覆打開那封送不出的卡片，坐在書桌前看著曾經的拍立得，回憶湧上之際又帶著我們來到女主角內心的沙漠世界，而從現實走入內心的連結物便是書房中的椅子與時鐘。時鐘逐漸埋沒在沙漠中而停止轉動，意味著女主角想讓生活繼續往前，然而無法停止的難過使她停滯不前，而拖著沈重的椅子穿越沙漠則視為尋覓這段愛情的意義，並試著從中安放感情。最後她將拍立得與世人視為愛情的玫瑰花一同葬在曾經去過的海邊，意味著不再緊抓回憶，而是將美好隨海水而去，留在過往，開始新的生活。

Love in the Desert

This is a story of a dizzying love in the era of Generation Z.

As the male protagonist's birthday approaches, the female protagonist, who thinks their relationship is ambiguous, is writing a birthday card to give to him. At this moment, the message from the female protagonist, meant to comfort the male protagonist's heart, is left on read without a reply. Unexpectedly, the male protagonist disappears without warning, marking the end of their relationship. The female protagonist endures a cliff-like heartbreak alone, struggling to move on between memories and reality, feeling like she's stranded in a desert. This unrequited love, corresponding to the male protagonist, is like seeing an oasis in the desert—visible but untouchable. After unveiling the veil of love, she realizes it was just a mirage, a one-sided fantasy.

The female protagonist distinguishes between the past and the present with different-colored dresses. The white dress symbolizes the beautiful memories of the past, while the black dress represents facing the process of heartbreak alone. The medicine bottles seen in the bathroom scene also speak of modern ailments such as insomnia and depression becoming increasingly common among Generation Z.

The healing process inevitably brings waves of nostalgia. She repeatedly opens the unsent card, sitting at her desk looking at past Polaroids. As memories flood back, we are taken into the desert world of her heart. The connection from reality to her inner world is represented by the chair and clock in her study. The clock gradually gets buried in the desert and stops ticking, signifying her desire to move forward with life. However, the overwhelming sadness keeps her stuck, dragging the heavy chair through the desert represents searching for the meaning of this love and trying to find closure. Finally, she buries the Polaroids and the rose, a symbol of love in the eyes of society, at the beach she once visited. This signifies letting go of clinging to memories and letting the beauty drift away with the sea, leaving the past behind and starting a new life.
