The renovation of the old textile factory is centered on an immersive space and natural elements, aiming to lead people to reflect on the issue of anti-bullying. The symbolic space, which leads into the natural greenery area, provides a place to relax and reflect, enhances the sense of spatial hierarchy, and promotes spatial interaction.
The design concept divides the space into three emotional stages:
The first is pressure, through the design of the space that can bring people a sense of compression, implying the role of the bully; the second is transition, the use of corridors to allow people to better precipitate their emotions on the way, but also hope that this will lead to reflection and vigilance; and the third is healing, combined with the water and the unique slanted roof light and shadow and other elements.
The content of the exhibition mainly covers paintings or installations that are related to anti-bullying or can convey emotions, so as to stimulate the audience's emotional resonance and reflection.
Organized by a team of volunteers from civil society, retired educators and enthusiastic representatives of the public, the Cultural and Education Foundation, etc., the building should also interact with the local community to promote sharing and participation, including organizing workshops, lectures, art exhibitions, or other community activities in order to build a community that cares about the issue of anti-bullying.
