LOBO MATH

對於特教生來說,專注力與學習力不如常人的他們,卻必須利用一樣的時間學習至一般生的進度,也因此,許多特教老師會利用「輔助教具」進行教學,然而市面上卻少有這類輔助教具,大部分皆為老師手工製作,非常耗時。

LOBO MATH設計便是為了滿足特教生在學習上對於輔助教具的需求,設計上以「直接感受」為導向,讓學生在操作各單元教具上能有直接的回饋,其中包含了加減法、乘除法以及量的概念,讓特教生能夠快速理解與變通小學數學各單元之概念。

除此之外,LOBO MATH以蘿蔔工廠為背景,讓小朋友化身為小白兔之幫手,幫助他們加工蘿蔔並賣出,增添學習數學之趣味性,同時也運用工廠單位的不同對應到數學中不同的單元,一層一層的作業程序相對代表著各單元的漸進教學。

For students with special educational needs, their focus and learning abilities may not be as strong as those of typical students. However, they are required to learn at the same pace as their peers, which can be challenging. Therefore, many special education teachers utilize "assistive teaching aids" to facilitate learning. However, there is a lack of such assistive teaching aids on the market, and most are handmade by teachers, which is very time-consuming.

LOBO MATH is designed to meet the needs of special education students for assistive teaching aids. The design is oriented towards "direct sensory experience", allowing students to have direct feedback when operating various unit teaching aids. This includes concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement, enabling special education students to quickly understand and adapt to various elementary mathematical concepts.

In addition, LOBO MATH is set in a carrot factory, where children can play the role of helper rabbits, assisting in processing carrots and selling them. This adds fun to learning mathematics while also using different units in the factory to correspond to different mathematical concepts. The step-by-step operation process represents the progressive teaching of various units in mathematics.
