Whether it is for laying eggs or hiding, turtles always dig holes to place things.
This concept is extended into bags. While there are many types of bags, why we chose the carry-on bag type is because turtles are famous for their slow and steady pace. Use this concept to create a bag that's perfect for traveling and exploring. The hexagon is used as the basic shape of the bag because, no matter how complex and diverse the patterns on the turtle shell are, most of them are based on the hexagonal shape. Hexagons are geometric shapes found in nature, including turtle shells. This can be used as a metaphor for protection and stability. The bag can be designed to represent a safe and secure space, like a turtle's shell.
The kraft paper, which has been manually stamped and kneaded, then spray-coated after coloring, is sewn as the main material.
Suitable hangings and accessories are added for support to show the unique characteristics of the carry-on bag. The shape of the carry-on bag is developed in a unified size, with a proportional size of about 21x13cm.
Accessories such as ropes and buttons are also in the same color.
Unified labels or charms on bags are used to increase the sense of series.
The pattern on the bag was inspired and created based on the characteristics, lifestyle and movements related to turtles.
Use body safe paint to create a unique pattern on specialized kraft paper with a specially engraved stamp. You can even make your own carry-on bag. The details of each bag are highlighted by the turtle characteristics. For example, the turtle’s telescopic properties, slow movements, eating habits, etc. were used to create ideas and continuations.
