近幾年來因爆發嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎（COVID-19），幾乎使人不得以只能在家辦公，而由於在家辦公時間拉長，隨著疫情的解封，既有習慣依然延續，越來越多同居情侶以沙發成為他們辦公以及上課和生活的雙重場所。本團隊透過深度訪談和觀察，發掘情侶在這種環境下對應辦公的需求，且同時了解疫情加速了房屋小宅化趨勢。為了能滿足情侶在同一個空間中工作，並強調辦公和房屋小宅化對於日常生活的深遠影響，本團隊提出WORK PLAY HUB現成沙發床改造計畫，提供一個更具適應性和富有生活趣味性的居家辦公解決方案，本創新提案主要特色為具有展開可為邊桌的沙發扶手設計，此邊桌可提供使用者操作電腦和物品，充分滿足使用者在共同生活和工作中的需求，更為他們提供了一個具有實用性和趣味性的居家辦公環境；另外，於沙發附上特製模塊靠枕，使用者可以利用沙發上的模塊靠枕，自由調整坐姿，找到最舒適的姿態，讓使用者間的日常互動更為輕鬆、有趣且充滿創意。
In recent years, due to the outbreak of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (COVID-19), almost forcing people to work from home, the extended period of remote work at home has led to the continuation of existing habits. As the pandemic subsides, more and more cohabitating couples are turning the couch into a dual-purpose space for both work and life. Through in-depth interviews and observations, our team has discovered the needs of couples for working in such an environment, while also understanding how the pandemic has accelerated the trend of housing becoming smaller. In order to meet the needs of couples working in the same space and to emphasize the profound impact of remote work and housing downsizing on daily life, our team proposes the WORK PLAY HUB sofa bed transformation project. This provides a more adaptable and enjoyable home office solution. The main feature of this innovative proposal is a sofa armrest design that can be unfolded into a side table, providing users with a space to operate their computers and other items, fully meeting their needs for shared living and working, and providing them with a practical and enjoyable home office environment. Additionally, special modular pillows are attached to the sofa, allowing users to freely adjust their sitting positions and find the most comfortable posture, making daily interactions between users more relaxed, fun, and creative.
