隨著時代的變遷，廟宇的文化傳承逐漸走向落寞，但廟宇周圍的商業活動乃然至今興盛不衰。但到了未來，也會隨著年齡層生活型台的轉變而讓這僅有的廟埕文化消失，所以在現代的市場與廟宇結合中，不只要找回原始台灣民間的藝術中心價值，而且還要加入當代與未來人們的各種不同的生活需求。
本計畫將實現撫育人心的社區宮廟傳統市集改建，在空間規畫、通用設計尺度、動線規劃、材質照明設計等，來傳遞傳統市集和宮廟結合下，能夠創造當代與未來新感受的公共空間設計。
在市場的改建當中，以香作為設計概念，香，是能與神明溝通慰藉得一種管道與儀式感，也是市場中美食小吃無形的廣告，藉由香來做為生理與心理的轉化，實際呈現在整體市場的規劃。
With the changes of the times, the cultural heritage of the temple has gradually become lonely, but the commercial activities around the temple have flourished to this day. But in the future, with the change of the age group's life style platform, the only Miaocheng culture will disappear, so in the combination of the modern market and the temple, not only to find the value of the original Taiwanese folk art center, but also to add a variety of different life needs of contemporary and future people. This project will realize the renovation of the traditional community palace and temple market that nurtures people's hearts, and conveys the public space design that can create new feelings of the present and the future under the combination of space planning, universal design scale, circulation planning, material lighting design, etc. In the renovation of the market, incense is used as the design concept, incense is a channel and ritual sense that can communicate with the gods, and it is also an invisible advertisement for food and snacks in the market.
