現今科技日益發達及人口激增，土地使用需求日益增加，需開墾綠地建造建築，而平地面積不足的狀態下需要往山上開墾，造成綠化面積下降，原住民部落與生態遭到破壞，都市排出過多的二氧化碳跟不上綠植生成氧氣的速度，造成臭氧層破洞越來越大，全球暖化更加嚴重。
自然環境為地球上不可或缺的重要生存元素，台灣本島最重要的地形除了山區森林、丘陵、台地、平原，還有重要的溼地和潟湖 。西南沿岸台灣則有豐富的濕地資源，尤其是台南的溼地為鳥類重要棲息地，濕地植物也常扮演天然的水資源過濾系統功能。
本次畢業設計選擇台南六甲洗布埤國家重要埤塘溼地作為生態環境教育中心的規劃設計基地，我們希望透過這項計畫建構人、建築與生態環境相互融合的永續環境並將地方環境特色納入整體規劃，將自然環境及建築結合，讓公共空間達到具推廣、寓教於樂的意義，使地方產生認同感，讓整體設計使人與環境之間擁有互動式的體驗。
With the advancement of technology and rapid population growth, the demand for land use is increasing. Green spaces need to be preserved instead of being developed for constructing buildings. In cases where flat land is insufficient, development extends to mountainous areas, leading to a reduction in green spaces. This situation leads to the destruction of indigenous tribal communities and ecosystems. Urban areas emit excessive carbon dioxide, surpassing the rate at which green plants produce oxygen. This leads to the deterioration of the ozone layer and exacerbates global warming.
The natural environment is an indispensable element for survival on Earth. Besides mountainous forests, hills, plateaus, and plains, Taiwan's main island also boasts significant wetlands and lagoons. The southwestern coast of Taiwan is rich in wetland resources, with Tainan's wetlands serving as crucial habitats for birds, while wetland plants often act as natural water filtration systems.
For this graduation project, we have chosen the Liujia Washing Pond, a nationally significant wetland in Tainan, as the location for planning and designing an ecological environmental education center. Through this project, we aim to construct a sustainable environment where people, architecture, and ecosystems harmoniously integrate. By incorporating the distinctive local environmental features into the overall planning, we aim to integrate the natural environment with architecture. This integration will allow public spaces to serve the dual purpose of promotion and education, fostering a sense of identity within the community. The overall design aims to provide an interactive experience between people and the environment.
