背著大背包的熊是設計給學齡前兒童的圖書繪本設計，繪本故事主要圍繞在猜測主角為什麼總是背著大背包到處跑為主軸，以及背包到底為什麼那麼大，目的是讓小朋友能發揮想像力，在聆聽故事的同時能跟著裡面的動物們一起猜猜看原因到底為何，另外也加入了能輔助閱讀的糰子娃娃以及公仔，增加他們的記憶力。
故事主要講述有一隻名叫歹丸的黑熊，他總是背著紅色大背包到處跑，大家都對他的背包感到非常好奇，覺得為什麼要總是背著到處跑呢?於是大家就開始了一系列的猜測，有人猜裡面是金錢，有人猜裡面裝著其他的動物，也有人猜說不定主角的真實身分不簡單…猜到一半的時候，主角黑熊出現了！但是登場方式非常奇妙，背包的秘密也終於解開在眾人的眼前。
周邊方面有主角熊的大背包作為繪本的外包裝，選擇紅色作為主色是因為紅色非常鮮艷，可以吸引小朋友的目光，提高對背包的興趣，還有可以吸引小朋友注意力的糰子娃娃以及公仔，裝在大背包裡可以讓小朋友背在身上帶著走。糰子娃娃可以讓小朋友拿起來捏著他，如果咬下去的話裡面有裝發聲氣囊，可以讓家長及時注意並防止小朋友吞下去產生危險的可能。
