故事是取自聖經舊約，索多瑪與蛾摩拉是當時最繁榮的城市，但誕生出了色情貪婪等惡行，惹怒了上帝，上帝因此將下火氣摧毀了索多瑪。
這條街道充滿著索多瑪與蛾摩拉故事的背景下，我們不禁思考著，即使面對著毀滅性的結局，每一次的衰落都可能孕育出新的希望。
西陵街，曾經是上海街的繁華之地，但隨著商家引進了軍人等消費客群，卻也引發了不少不良行業的滋生，如色情行業、毒品交易等。隨著時間的流逝，這條街逐漸失去了昔日的繁榮，變得荒廢與衰落。
然而，我們堅信在這片荒涼之地仍然存在著希望的種子。透過重新設計、重建，我們能夠讓這條街道重新獲得新生。我們可以將聖經中索多瑪城市的警世故事轉化為一個區域重建的契機，重新塑造這個社區的面貌，讓它重新成為人們生活的中心。
這不僅僅是一次重建，更是一次對於希望和重生的堅定信念，見證西陵街的轉變，讓每一個設計都成為這個街道的新生
The story is taken from the Old Testament of the Bible, Sodom and Gomorrah were the most prosperous cities at that time, but they gave birth to erotic greed and other evil deeds, which angered God, and God destroyed Sodom in anger. The street is filled with the backdrop of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, and we can't help but think that even in the face of a devastating end, every decline may give birth to new hope. Xiling Street used to be a prosperous place in Shanghai Street, but with the introduction of military and other consumer groups by merchants, it has also led to the breeding of many undesirable industries, such as the industry and drug trading. Over time, the street gradually lost its former prosperity and became deserted and in decline. However, we firmly believe that there are still seeds of hope in this inhospitable land. By redesigning and rebuilding, we were able to give this street a new lease of life. We can turn the biblical cautionary tales of the city of Sodom into an opportunity for regional redevelopment to reshape the community and put it back at the center of people's lives. This is not only a reconstruction, but also a firm belief in hope and rebirth, witnessing the transformation of Xiling Street, so that every design becomes the new life of this street
