如此科技進步的時代，台灣多數青壯年前往了工作機會更多的城市，離開的家鄉也逐漸沒落，許多的建築與活動因缺少民眾的參與而取消、成為蚊子館，更嚴重的是面臨休館，無人的去處已不再經營；我們想要重拾過去那些記憶裡的樂趣，人潮集聚的地方總是會有嶄新的邂逅，我們想要是在現代快節奏的步調裡尋找一方小天地，與記憶裡的美好一同在新舊碰撞下擦出不一樣的火花。
從一個小地方重新出發，以吸引各式各樣的人潮來到新的文娛地點，當有一個新的地標，人潮湧動之時就會帶動各式產業發展與經濟。
為此，我們選擇由台南電姬戲院與鄰近的舊建築和空地所組成的一塊場地。
在穿越過去和現代，我們相信劇場能夠與從古至今的所有場合產生共鳴，不論是生活電影體驗與「戲劇」的本質都密不可分。
透過空間的錯落佈局，體驗人在不同空間所建立起的羈絆，又或是穿梭之中體驗不同性質的空間和劇場所感受的關聯性，並且新舊文化自由共存時會產生的新反應，時間與空間將會包容這些新的元素。
In this era of technological advancement, many young adults in Taiwan have moved to cities with more job opportunities, leaving their hometowns gradually declining. Many buildings and activities have been canceled due to the lack of public participation, becoming abandoned places, and some are even facing closure, with no one managing them anymore. We want to rediscover the joy of past memories, as places where crowds gather often lead to new encounters. We seek to create a small sanctuary amidst the fast-paced modern life, where the beauty of memories collides with the new, sparking unique experiences.
Starting anew from a small place, we aim to attract various crowds to a new entertainment destination. With a new landmark, the influx of people will drive the development of various industries and the economy.
For this reason, we have chosen a site composed of the Tainan Electric Ji Theater and the adjacent old buildings and empty space. As we bridge the past and present, we believe theaters resonate with all occasions, from ancient times to today, as life and cinema experiences are inseparable from the essence of "drama." Through a clever layout of spaces, we aim to explore the bonds people create in different settings, experience the interconnectedness of spaces and theater sensations, and understand the new reactions that emerge when cultures old and new coexist freely. Time and space will accommodate these new elements.
