成長於這個世代，人手一機已是生活的常態，周遭充斥著科技進步的表現。然而，這些進步卻緩緩地將某些回憶從人們的記憶中抹去。
每個人多少都會從自己的父母親或長輩口中，聽到他們過去的輝煌歷史或者羅曼蒂克的愛情故事，而在這些故事當中，總是會談到我們不曾耳聞的事物。也有過那麼幾次，長輩從儲藏間拿出充滿復古味的懷舊小物，從未見過的物品，會讓我們產生新奇感。
「難道我們真的與過去世代沒有任何關聯了嗎？」仔細想想，其實有些物品早就讓我們產生習慣，進而遺忘它們也是充滿臺灣味的物品。我們的童年，其實也有著一些傳統的童玩、零食和生活用品，只是因為科技進步而讓我們遺忘。
從這些感想作為出發點，我們製作了一款遊戲，以「懷舊物品」、「具有臺灣味的物品」以及「充斥生活卻未察覺的傳統物品」為目標，以我們的創作能力編寫故事以及創造精靈角色，一起找回富有溫暖且懷舊回憶的『臺灣寶物』。
本作品的設計以「懷舊復古」為主題，主角、精靈角色、各個UI介面以及場景配色都清楚地展現。在精靈的角色創作上，都保留原物品的相關設計，例如：茄芷袋的人物設計以紅、綠、藍三種顏色作為主要配色；在場景的創作上，選取了臺灣傳統的建築為主，像是三合院、雜貨店等。
Growing up in this era, the ubiquitous presence of smartphones has become the norm, and our lives are enveloped by the ever-evolving landscape of technological advancements. However, amidst this progress, there exists a gradual erosion of certain memories entrenched within the collective consciousness.
The recollections passed down by our parents or elders often regale us with tales of their illustrious pasts or romantic escapades, frequently delving into realms unknown to us. On occasion, elders would unearth nostalgic relics from storage, unveiling items previously unseen and sparking a sense of curiosity within us.
Reflecting upon our connection to preceding generations, we ponder whether it has dwindled amidst the rapid pace of change. However, upon closer examination, we could find that certain items have ingrained themselves so deeply into our lives that we've unwittingly overlooked them, despite their intrinsic Taiwanese essence. During our formative years, traditional playthings, snacks, and everyday essentials were commonplace, but the march of technological progress has led to their gradual obscurity.
Driven by these contemplations, we embarked on a creative endeavor aimed at resurrecting the essence of "nostalgic items," infusing them with Taiwanese flair, and shedding light on traditional fixtures that subtly permeate our existence. Leveraging our imaginative prowess, we craft narratives and develop sprite characters, all with the intention of rekindling the warm, nostalgic sentiments associated with "Taiwanese Treasures."
At the core of our main project is a design philosophy infused with a "nostalgic retro" theme. This theme is marked by vibrant portrayals of the protagonist, sprite characters, varied UI interfaces, and meticulously selected scene palettes.
During our efforts to create sprite characters, we also strive to remain faithful to the original designs of the items.
For instance, the character design for the betel nut bag prominently features a color scheme consisting of vibrant reds, greens, and blues.
Moreover, scene creation, we focus on traditional Taiwanese architecture, with an emphasis on structures such as the three-section compound (sanheyuan) and the corner store.
