台南的街友主要聚集於台南火車站附近的地下道，經市府勸導，最後選擇東豐地下道做為街友暫時棲宿避寒的「住所」，但地下道的設計是提供人們行走的，本就不適合居住，長期居住在地下道進而衍伸了種種問題，環境髒亂、治安混亂…等等。幽暗封閉的環境更讓街友們難以回歸社會讓他們變得更加邊緣，相較於街上的流浪貓狗都有人關心，何況是一條人命，街友是市民也有人權，需要被關心及重視才有更多重回家庭或投入社會的機會。
因此我想藉由設計臨時收容所來提供遊民有一個暫時能夠遮風避雨安心居住的場所，讓遊民走出陰暗的地下道，享有人應有的居住環境，並解決遊民跟居民的問題所需，也透過空間機能幫助長期無家可歸的人們成功重返社會，並創造一個安全和熟悉的環境，讓這些人重新創造歸屬感，也讓台南街頭不再雜亂還給都市嶄新的面貌。
After the persuasion of the city government, the city government finally chose the Dongfeng underground tunnel as a temporary "residence" for the homeless to stay in the cold, but the design of the underground tunnel is to provide people to walk, which is not suitable for living. Wait a minute. Compared with the stray cats and dogs on the street, there are people who care about it, not to mention a human life, and the homeless people are citizens and have human rights, so they need to be cared for and valued to have more opportunities to return to their families or join the society. Therefore, I want to design a temporary shelter to provide homeless people with a place to live in peace of mind, so that they can get out of the dark underground tunnels, enjoy the living environment they deserve, and solve the problems of homeless people and residents, and also help people who have been homeless for a long time to successfully reintegrate into society through space function, and create a safe and familiar environment for these people to recreate a sense of belonging, and also make the streets of Tainan no longer cluttered and give the city a new look.
