Recovering the Da’an Port that was left behind in historical memory

Recovering the Da’an Port that was left behind in historical memory

When I was a child, I often listened to adults tell the historical stories of Da'an Port, and I had a lot of interest from some small stories over time. Nowadays, it is no longer possible to see the original bay of Da'an Port. Seeing that the houses left behind today still have traces of previous history, if we can use some different ways of presentation to evoke those memories of Da'an Port, it will not be forgotten so quickly. I use the corridors to travel through the old spaces in an attempt to awaken the memories sealed in the trajectory of time, to stay in the intervals of each wall, to touch and listen to the stories that happened in that era, and the walls are also built in three eras, namely earth blocks, red bricks and concrete, which can also illustrate the difference between function and function. The greatest architectural feature of this place is retained - the stone wall is used as the base to cover upwards, and in this area the stone wall is used as a wind protection material, which is good for sheltering from the erosion of the monsoon when the northeast monsoon comes. The corridor runs through the area behind the customs, and the red brick wall, stone wall, and concrete wall are constantly shuttling, feeling and learning, and what are the different meanings and functions of the space established by the ancients.
