生活中人們接收訊息的方式通常來自於五感，運用身體感受環境與空間的氛圍，
其中，最常被人使用的是視覺，然而嗅覺卻經常被忽略，嗅覺在人體感官中帶有探索以及記憶的能力。本研究藉由氣味探索地區的在地文化資產，感受當地的活動與文化，利用氣味與氣流的關係在空間之間穿梭，使在地活動與觀光旅遊能夠結合嗅覺的感知，交匯成嶄新的空間文化場域。
本次設計成果運用嗅覺對人體的影響分為四個項目為感覺、真實、流動以及匯集氣味。感覺與真實氣味為當地既有的活動、文化、產業、綠帶等氣味，結合CFD的演算法推演出流動與匯集的氣味帶動空間彼此之間的關聯性，並嘗試藉由空間形式，營造出地區的氛圍感利用建築材料，磚頭、木材，將氣味停留在鼻子上，進而感受體會到地方文化的嗅覺遺產。

Use the sense of smell to describe the ancient city - explore the smell of culture

The way people receive information in life usually comes from the five senses, using the body to feel the atmosphere of the environment and space. Among them, the most commonly used is vision, but the sense of smell is often overlooked, and the sense of smell has the ability to explore and remember in the human senses. In this study, we explore the local cultural assets of the region through smell, feel the local activities and culture, and use the relationship between smell and airflow to shuttle between spaces, so that local activities and sightseeing can be combined with the perception of smell and converge into a new spatial cultural field. The results of this design use the influence of smell on the human body and are divided into four items: sensation, authenticity, flow, and convergence of odors. The feeling and real smell are the existing local activities, culture, industry, green belt and other smells, combined with the CFD algorithm to deduce the correlation between the flow and convergence of the smell to drive the space, and try to create a sense of regional atmosphere through the form of space, using building materials, bricks, wood, to stay the smell on the nose, and then feel and experience the olfactory heritage of the local culture.
